my project as a writer in the action consists of an intensive inspection of the place Küblis stipulate in the mine, but also in a presentation of my literary work in the framework of the existing Austrian literature and a description of the influence of other European cultural spaces - especially the Italian - on my life and my writing.
staying at this - it was not my first in Küblis as I've activities under the action had "ospiti" spent several days there - For me was not the geographical exploration of the places in the foreground rather than a first presentation of my person as literate. Accordingly, I had planned a lecture, which consisted of a lecture about "Austrian" in Austrian literature, made a presentation of Trieste pressor virgilio Giotti (his life, from his own works in the Trieste dialect, translated by me) that I also provided an opportunity to introduce myself as a translator from Italian, and from the lecture a number of poems from my book "disasters of marriage". The event took place on the 2nd day of my presence in the community center of Küblis. Apart from the organizers - Peter Trachsel, the Head Librarian, their coach and the authorities responsible for culture in the community - were, despite the efficient announcements placed in newspapers and on posters in place only 4 awes audience.
on 3 day I was there I had a workshop scheduled with 10-11-year olds in the school of Küblis. The theme was "living with the animal." I had about 15 texts on the part of me, poems, short prose pieces, sent for some time before local teachers to provide specific preparation. such had apparently inadvertently, not taken place. the children were present for the first time in my face the more quickly photocopied texts. I read the texts twice before, said to some, encouraged the children eventually to write something myself ... Following this, the children enrolled animals docile about their experiences, you live with. the contact with the partly interested in general very open students was thoroughly enjoyable. the preparation would have been excited by me but certainly had a positive effect on an outcome of such a first confrontation of a non-Swiss author with the school kids.
on the fourth day I went, still to stuffy nose - had predicted the Swiss mountain air, against all, not a wonderful cast - again. I
